Section C

Technical documentation

Attach a 3D file and/or 2D drawing of the part. If the files exceed the permitted size, include a download link (WeTransfer, Dropbox or similar) in the notes field.
Accepted formats: STEP, STP, IGES, IGS, STL and ZIP. Max. 50 MB.
Accepted formats: PDF, DWG and ZIP. Max. 50 MB.

Section D

Technical requirements

Plastic material

Select one or more materials. If the required material is not listed, tick "Other".

This avoids replacing a specific grade with a generic material name.

Surface finish requirements

Dimensional tolerances

These are request targets, not general guarantees. Values are confirmed after reviewing the drawing, critical dimensions, material, geometry and measurement system.
Indicate the approximate number of parts required.

Additional information

You may include additional requirements, project context or a download link if the files are too large.

Precision

Tolerances

  • Reference: ISO 20457 for plastics moulded parts.
  • Part tolerance: defined by dimension and dependent on material, geometry, shrinkage and measurement system.
  • Machined cavity: the ±0.02 mm target applies only to the tool where feasible; it is not a general part tolerance.
  • Applicable values are confirmed in the technical quotation and agreed drawing.
